The Texas USA Wrestling board members would like to thank you for your continued support, and appreciate all your investment in your child(ren) / athletes. This year, TXUSAW is committing over $100,000 in support of the Texas Freestyle & Greco-Roman Wrestling National Teams. This value represents more than 65% of the total estimated costs for the duals teams. Like last year, you will have to option to purchase your airfare and hotel as part of the team package, or you can choose to arrange your own travel, lodging, and meals. The total costs are represented below: including all wrestler travel, hotel, and meal costs, and an equal share of the coach's costs.

WM 16U & JR duals are combined teams
Every wrestler participating on a national team is required to cover an equal portion of the training camp costs, coaches costs, and registration costs.
We will utilize the same gear package as last year. If you kept your gear from last year, and it still fits, you do not need to purchase it again this year. The purchase of the national team gear is required to compete at F/G Duals and Fargo. The cost of the gear is $300, and is in addition to the team registration costs above. We will have gear available to purchase at our Freestyle & Greco state.
Below you will register your child(ren) / athletes for the TXUSAW Frestyle & Greco-Roman national teams. Please complete the National Team Form fully. It is important that we have all the information listed for team registration and travel arrangements. Provide only legal names, no nicknames or abbreviations are accepted by the airlines. The parental contact information is also essential is case of emergency or other issue.
Payments for the Duals team are required no later than May 24, 2023. Payments for Fargo are due no later than June 16, 2023. These dates are set based on the need to finalize airline tickets, to arrange camp accomidations via host families or hotel, among other items.
Qualification
To qualify for the Fargo national team, the wrestler must meet one of the follow criteria:

To qualifiy for the Texas national duals team (14U, 16U, JR), placement in the above events will be given priority. Final team selection will be made by the National Team Directors. If your wrestler was not able to compete at Freestyle / Greco State, please click here to complete the National Team Waiver Form. If you competed and place at a Regional event, the Open, or Women's Nationals please include this information on the waiver form. Upon completion the waiver should be emailed to the respective National Team Director, as defined in the Form.
